Volunteer Services
At CICTA "volunteers are one of our best resources"
CICTA was established to offer aid and assistance to those who are in need and especially to those who are bypassed by the normal channels of charitable assistance.
One of the most tragic aspects in the lives of those who face challenges of cancer.
CICTA need people who can commit to spending some hours volunteering in our cancer research programs.
Volunteers can provide:
- One to one companionship for residents
- Visiting and social interaction with residents
- Organizing arts and crafts activities for residents
- Assistance with organizing recreational activities
- Travel companions on trips with residents
- Assist residents in building their own social network
All volunteers must be 19 years or older, have a successful criminal record check
completed, reference checks and attend training sessions and orientation.
